Recipe Ingredients:

2 cups chicken broth

1 cup rice

10 ounces frozen chopped broccoli

3 tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 dash pepper

2 cups milk

2 3 boneless chicken breasts, cubed

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

1/4 cup toasted almonds

In a large saucepan bring chicken broth and rice to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 10 minutes. Cook broccoli and drain well. In a separate saucepan add butter, flour, salt, pepper and milk. Cook on medium heat and stir until thickened. Add in chicken, rice, broccoli and mushrooms. Pour contents into a 2 quart casserole dish and bake covered at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Serves 6.
