There is nothing better than a great home made chili. This Chesapeake Bay Chili Recipe is sure to put some zing in your next get together but make sure you make enough because it disappears fast.

Recipe Ingredients:

3 pounds ground sirloin

2  packages Lawry’s taco seasoning, divided

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 large onion, chopped

1 large green pepper, chopped

2 cups pinto beans

2 – 14 ounce cans sliced stewed tomatoes

4 large tomatoes, diced

4 tablespoons chili powder

1 cup tomato paste

2 cups ketchup

2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

In a large 6-8 quart pot brown the ground sirloin with one packet of taco seasoning, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon onion powder and 1 teaspoon black pepper. Add the chopped onion and green pepper and cook until they are tender. Add all the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Turn down heat to low and simmer for 4 hours until nice and thick. Serve with corn bread, soda crackers or tortilla chips.
