Lobster Bisque is an amazing startef for that special meal and one that is relatively easy to make.

Recipe Ingredients:


2 lobsters, whole

2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 cup heavy cream
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon thyme
1 cup white wine, dry
Flour
4 cups chicken broth
Salt
Pepper
4 tablespoons butter

In a large pot ( 6-8 quart ) boil water and cook lobsters for 6-8 minutes. In a large sauce pan melt butter and add onion powder. Add bay leaf and thyme. Remove meat from tails and cut into chunks break the rest  into pieces ( still in shell ) and add to sauce pan. Cook lobster for 4 minutes then add white wine and chicken broth. Cover and let simmer for 15 minutes. Remove lobster from pot and let cool. Remove meat from shells and cut into chunks. Add all ingredients to large pot. In another small pan melt some butter and add tomato paste. Cook until smooth and then add to pot with lobster. Add cream and salt and pepper to taste. Stir continuously but do now let mixture boil. Add flour a little at a time to thicken mixture. When thoroughly heated serve.
