Corn Bread is a compliment to any meal and sometimes a meal in and of itself. This makes one delicious corn bread.
Ingredients:
2 cups corn meal
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
2 cups buttermilk
2 eggs
2 tablespoons butter
In a medium bowl mix all the dry ingredients together and then add the buttermilk. Then beat eggs and melt butter and add to the dry mix and mix well. Pour mixture into a greased baking pan and bake at 400 degrees for 45-60 minutes or until you can pierce with a toothpick and it comes out dry.
