This is another version of the Seafood Casserole recipe that is sure to make your family very happy and very full.
Recipe Ingredients:
2 cups cooked shrimp
2 cups crab meat
1 cup cooked whole grain rice
1 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 green pepper, chopped
1 small jar of pimentos, chopped
In a large saute pan saute the onions, green pepper, celery and pimentos. In a large bowl combine butter, flour, Worcestershire sauce and milk to make a sauce. Combine the sauteed ingredients with the sauce and stir well. Then add in shrimp, mayonnaise, crab meat and rice. Place in a buttered casserole dish and top with buttered bread crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
