This is the mother of all Maryland seafood recipes. Filled with seafood and creamy goodness this Maryland Seafood Delight recipe is sure to make fans out of your family and dinner guests. Get ready to hand out copies of this recipe!
Recipe Ingredients:
1/2 pound lobster chunks
1/2 pound crabmeat
1/2 pound shrimp
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flower
1 quart milk, scalded
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 cup cooking sherry
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup cracker meal
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine butter and flour in a large saucepan and brown over low heat, stirring constantly. Add scalded milk and bring mixture to a boil. Make sure to whip with a beater so there are no lumps. Add spices and cooking sherry to the mixture. Place your seafood in a 2 quart casserole dish and then pour sauce over top. Mix the parmesan cheese, paprika and cracker meal and then sprinkle over top of dish. Bake in oven for 20 minutes or until top is brown.
