It’s getting close to the summer season again and who doesn’t love to grill outside during the summer. This Maryland grilled shrimp recipe is sure to have your guest smiling and wanting to know your secret.
Recipe Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 cup tomato sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon hot peppers, crushed
1 tablespoon old bay
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 pounds fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
Melt butter in saucepan and add in garlic, cook for 3 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients except shrimp to the saucepan and let simmer for 10 minutes so the mixture reduces and thickens. Let cool. Place shrimp on skewers then baste the shrimp well and wrap in cling film. let marinate in refrigerator for 2 hours then grill the shrimp while continually basting with the sauce.
