Maryland Crab Newburg takes the classic dish and adds a taste of the eastern shore. Very easy to make and very delicious, enjoy!

Recipe Ingredients:

1 pound lump backfin crabmeat

1/2 pound butter

3 tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon old bay seasoning

2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons onion, chopped

2 cups cream

3 egg yolks, lightly beaten

2 tablespoons cooking sherry

6 slices of toast, buttered

In a large saucepan melt butter. Stir in flour, old bay, worcestershire sauce and onions. Slowly stir in cream. Cook, stiring constantly over medium heat until mixture is thick and smooth. Add crabmeat and heat to serving temperature. Remove from heat and stir in beaten egg yolks and cooking sherry. Spoon mixture onto buttered toast and serve.
