This Maryland Crab Mousse recipe makes for a great light lunch when you want to impress your guests. Easy to make and even easier to recieve compliments on.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 pound crabmeat

2 tablespoons gelatin

1/2 cup cold water

1 can condensed tomato soup

10 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 cup celery, chopped

2 tablespoons green pepper, chopped

2 tablespoons green onions, chopped

1/4 cup olives, chopped

In a small bowl add gelatin to cold water and let sit for 5 minutes. Heat the soup to boiling  and remove from heat. Add gelatin water mixture to soup and stir until dissolved. Cream the cream cheese well in a small bowl and stir into soup until smooth. When soup is just about cool fold in the mayonnaise and the rest of the ingredients. Pour mixture into a mold and chill for 2 hours. Unmold onto a bed of lettuce and serve.
