Chocolate Almond Delight is sure to be a favorite. fast and easy to make but your guests will think it took you hours.
Ingredients
3/4 cup chopped almonds
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cup flour
14 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
6 ounces cool whip
2 packages of instant chocolate pudding
3 cups milk
In a 9×13 inch pan blend almonds, butter and flour. Bake at 250 degrees for 15 minutes, remove and let cool completely. In a large bowl beat together until smooth the cream cheese, powdered sugar and half of the cool whip. Spread this mixture over the cooled crust. In a medium bowl mix the 2 packages of instant pudding and milk until thick. Spread pudding over the second layer in pan. Spread the other 7 ounces of cool whip over top and sprinkle with almond slivers. Cool for an hour and serve.
