Spicy Cajun Shrimp Kabobs Recipe

Ingredients:

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

8 green onions, cut into 2 inch pieces

4 orange bell peppers cut into 2 inch pieces

1/4 cup butter

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic, chopped fine

1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper

1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

Directions:

In a medium sauce pan combine butter, ketchup, thyme, worcestershire sauce, ground pepper, garlic, red pepper and Tabasco sauce. Cook over medium heat for 5  minutes making sure to mix well.

Using skewers you will assemble Kababos with the remaining ingredients. Start with a shrimp then green onion then orange pepper then mushroom until there is no room left on the skewer. Each skewer should have at least 3 shrimp on it.

Place kabobs in a shallow baking dish and pour marinade over them. Cover and chill for 2 hours. When ready place on the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes each constantly turning and basting with the left over marinade. Shrimp is cooked when it turns pinkish orange.
